All that Glitters is Gold
For the first time at Godwick event, we have had to turn people away, which is very sad as we would love to been able to hold more, but despite Godwick Great Barn being big it just isn’t that big!
Some details for those that attending.
Start: 7pm. Fizzy bubbles on arrival!
Dress: Glamorous glitz for the girls, suave sophistication for the boys! It’s a Glitter Ball, so go crazy, the more outrageous the better!
Food: The best Norfolk can offer. A truly seasonal menu full of Norfolkness cooked and served by our wonderful friends at Hatter Events! No more clues!
Entertainment: A closely guarded secret. No one knows yet apart from us and a small team of dedicated helpers!
Auction: We have some absolutely fabulous prizes lined up so far… If you like tennis, fab. If you like flying even fabber. If you like shooting, tick. If you like jewels, oh yea baby!
(Small print - Do you have a wonderful auction prize or something amazing that you could donate? Please get in touch and let us know soon.)
Dancing: After the auction, kick off your shoes and hit the dance floor feeling light in the wallet and care free having bought a wonderful auction prize!! Seriously, we have an amazing band travelling all the way from Sussex, The I Dos. Dust off your best moves and party, you will need them!
Other attractions. Magical Camping are putting up a Giant Tipi adjoining the barn, where there will be a new Chill OUT zone and a gambling den! Get your chips out and fun money and play poker like you’re in Las Vegas!
And finally back on popular demand from last year, the Booth Experience with a photo booth, so you can pull off some of those crazy drunken photos, you wish you could erase the next morning!
And very, very importantly… all money raised goes to the The Breast Cancer Unit Development Fund at the QEH Hospital, Kings Lynn in memory of my lovely sister Sally Grove.
On that please support our friendly gardener Mark Argent. Mark has very kindly agreed to run the Holkham Half Marathon in Sally’s memory and is raising money for the same charity. To make a donation please visit Mark’s fundraising page.
